Xianger

Xianger is a multidisciplinary artist and designer based in Shenzhen, China. With a background in architecture and a master's degree from Kobe University, Japan, he is the founder of an independent design practice encompassing visual identity, exhibition planning, and spatial design. His artistic practice spans photography, moving image, ceramic sculpture, and spatial experimentation. Beginning with observations of everyday environments, the human body, and physical materials, his work investigates perception, scale, temporality, and material transformation. Through image-making and material experimentation, he questions how things are seen, interpreted, and experienced. His projects develop distinct inquiries through different media. Cosmic Drift examines perceptual uncertainty and shifting notions of scale; Minus One explores the ethics and power of looking at the exposed body; and Dimension investigates erosion, absence, and material transformation through ceramic remnants. His ongoing project, Hushed Reverberations, examines the conditions through which things become perceptible and how changes in those conditions reshape our experience of reality. Rather than offering fixed interpretations, his practice seeks to open possibilities for renewed observation, perception, and reflection. 享耳 一位艺术家与设计师，现工作于中国深圳。具有建筑学背景，获日本神户大学硕士学位。2022年创立独立设计品牌「平夜六日」，从事品牌视觉、展览策划、空间设计及跨媒介视觉实践。其个人艺术创作主要涉及摄影、动态影像、陶瓷雕塑与空间体验实验。 其艺术实践始于对日常事物、自然环境、身体及材料的持续观察。他将摄影视为超越现实记录的图像创作方式，同时通过影像的时间性、材料的物质变化及空间中的身体经验，探索事物如何被感知、理解与重新认识。其创作关注尺度、时间、记忆、物质及主体经验之间复杂而变化的关系，并对既定的视觉认知、观看习惯及审美判断保持持续的追问。 在具体实践中，他不以单一的视觉形式或理论命题统摄不同作品，而是从各自的对象、媒介特性及创作行为出发，展开相对独立的研究。「星河漫步」通过削弱尺度与空间参照，使日常物质脱离惯常认知，探讨景观形成与认知漂移；「大地漂流」通过对地表的近距离观察，使观看者失去对对象身份与自身观看位置的确定性；「负一」以男性身体为对象，考察暴露、可见性与观看权力之间的伦理关系；「宇宙M」则通过身体图像的复制、旋转与重组，探索形态、边界及身体之间的关系。在陶瓷雕塑系列「重」中，他从修坯过程中产生的残余物出发，以持续的去除与消磨作为生成形态的方式，研究物质损耗、秩序、负形及残余之间的关系。 其持续进行的长期项目「静默的回响」，则通过不同场所、时间经验与图像实验，研究事物得以显现的条件，以及当这些条件发生变化或部分被撤去时，现实如何以不同方式进入经验。 在艺术创作与设计实践之间，享耳始终重视具体经验与实际操作的价值。相较于提供确定的解释，他更倾向于通过作品创造重新观察、感受与判断的可能性，使那些习以为常的事物与经验再次成为值得追问的对象。

In 2022, Xianger founded PINGLY, a personal brand offering exhibition spatial and visual design, alongside brand visual design services. The brand also encompasses GUOOUG for artistic practice and XIANG craft_lab for art products. 2022 年创立个人品牌「平夜六日」，专注于艺术展览空间与视觉设计，以及品牌视觉设计服务。品牌旗下包含 GUOOUG 艺术作品单元及 XIANG craft_lab 艺术产品单元。
